2. Are our elevators safe? - About the door
1). First line of defense - A responsive light curtain detects obstacles, ensuring the door automatically reopens for maximum safety.
2). Second line of defense - The door inverter responds to obstacles reaching 150N by signaling the door to reopen, preventing any risk of injury.
3. Are our elevators safe? - How to prevent falling and hitting the top
1). All safety components are rigorously certified under CE and EAC standards, guaranteeing top-tier protection.
2). If the elevator descends faster than 1.15 times the rated speed, the speed governor and tension device engage, activating the safety gear's lifting rod to brake the guide rail, thereby halting further descent.
3). For upward movement exceeding 1.15 times the rated speed, the control cabinet communicates with the traction machine to initiate braking, bringing the ascent to a safe stop.
