2. Are our elevators safe? - About the door
1). The primary safeguard - the light curtain automatically reopens the door upon detecting an obstacle, enhancing user safety.
2). The secondary safeguard - the door inverter signals the door to reopen upon encountering a 150N obstacle, effectively preventing entrapment.
3. Are our elevators safe? - Preventing falls and top impacts
1). All safety components boast CE and EAC certifications, affirming their reliability and performance.
2). If the elevator descends faster than 1.15 times the rated speed, the speed governor and tension device engage the safety gear's lifting rod, braking the guide rail to halt further descent.
3). Should the ascent speed surpass 1.15 times the rated speed, the control cabinet instructs the traction machine to brake, pausing the upward movement effectively.
